Watch List

It's a pretty light week leading up to practices, so it's still time to look into the future. No, our Ouija Boards are still packed in the closet for a few more weeks. Instead, we'll let the "real media" take over our looks in the future. They say the Tigers should be damn good.

-Chase Daniel is on the '08 Maxwell Award watch list, along with Jeremy Maclin and Chase Coffman. Pretty easy to put these three on the list, especially with these highlights. The Maxwell Award is basically the Heisman without having to get all tux'd out for it. The Maxwell Award is one of those given out pre-Heisman, aka "The ones nobody cares about". Sorry, had to say it.

-Willy Mo, along with killing it on Kiper's Big Board for '09, is also up the '08 Chuck Bednarik Award. The Bednarik is basically the Maxwell award on the defensive side of the ball, and is named after an American bad ass. I could only wish the Chuck Bednarik trophy looked like Chuck Bednarik's pinkies.

Both awards are voted on by a bunch of old guys wearing Depends, and not that pesky media.
