It's been a few weeks since Gary Pinkel hit the dusty trail of recruiting. No, he wasn't in Centerville, Mo where you'd actually expect to still see dirt roads. Instead, he was nabbing recruits like Rosie O'Donnell does cupcakes.
Our recruiting guru, JP from Show Me Sports is releasing his Top 30 2009 in-state recruits. And for cliff-hanger effect, JP is doing it in 10's. He threw out his Top 10 today, and the list is looking Boss for Mizzou. Out of the Top 10, Pinkel owns the souls has commitments from five already, is rumored to be thisclose to having another, and Nathan Scheelhaase is supposedly going to let everyone know where he's going to be hooking up with coeds at in the next week. With Blaine Dalton and Ashton Glaser coming in, and Gabbert already there, I have better hopes for hitting the Powerball than for Scheelhaase to end up in Columbia.
(And you read that correctly. I dropped 'Boss' in there.)

I'd say it's down to Iowa, Oklahoma, and Stanford.
Yeah...Stanford. I'd rather have Iowa over OU, but I'm hoping for some reason he puts his smarts on and heads to Stanford.
