So that extra scholarship for '08? Not so much. After nights of praying that Leo Lyons would continue to live his dream of leaving early for the NBA **snicker**, God still hates Mizzou and Lyons is headed back to Columbia. We're still getting the big man's wrath because DeMarre Carroll is STILL in the draft! He has until mid-June to get back to Columbia, which must happen if Mizzou is going to compete in the B12.
Also, found this funny; another Mizzou player has "declared" for the draft...Kalen Grimes. Even better? He's under the "undrafted" portion. DQ Blizzards and shottys to the face for all!

Lyons was one of the bright spots on this Mizzou team last year and his and Carroll's inevitable return or both very good things for Mizzou. I'd rather have them than overrated Psycho T's little brother.
I'm hoping Carroll doesn't have Thomas Gardner Disease. Wow, bad move on his part...even though he probably wouldn't get drafted this year either.
I didn't see much of Crazy B (if you can come up with a better Ben Hansbrough nickname, I'll use it), but Miss State was a solid team and he seemed to be a good team player...something Mizzou has missed for the past few years. But you're right. SEC = Basketball?? Keep Florida out of it though.
And being a "Bright spot on this Mizzou team last year" is like a fatty hanging with fatter people to look skinny. I'm saying there were no bright spots on that team.
Another year of CMA and the boot of many Quin players, Mizzou should be much improved next year.
I don't know, man, Leo works so well in this offense. If he can develop some semblance of a post-up game he has a shot at being B12 player of the year candidate. With Tiller and Keon in the backcourt, this team has plenty of upside. There are bright spots... they're just really dim.
This will be the last year of the meshing of Quin's players and Anderson's system so I'm not exactly expecting great things from this team. I think they're looking at an outside shot at the Dance, but most likely an NIT entry... at least, which would be a pretty big step for what will be a very young Mizzou team next year.
Crazy B works, there's got to be a better name for him, but I'm far too lazy to think of one.
