Good With A Lot of Bad

First of all, props to Mizzou pitcher Aaron Crow for picking up the B12 Pitcher of the Week for the second time this season already. Crow went for his 3rd complete game and may already be on the donor list for a bionic arm. Crow moved to 7-0 after blanking Okie State on Friday. He also struck out seven...lots of lucky 7's there. And I full agree with Hazelwood's Most Wanted that I want to see him wearing the Birds on Bat by 2011. Unfortunately, I don't think he'll be there at #13 in June.

So for the rest of the Okie State series? Shitting the bed comes to mind. Mizzou lost 6-2 in a televised game on FSN on Saturday, and 8-5 on Sunday. The Tigers were never really in either game. The worst part? This series was AT TAYLOR STADIUM in Columbia!!! How do you come in ranked in the Top 10 by Baseball America and lose to Okie State, who isn't the greatest of B12 teams?! Hopefully you didn't book your trip to Omaha just yet. It's going to be tough to get there when you can't win a series against Okie freakin' State!

Since being ranked #2 by BA, the Tigers have fallen off the wagon like Jeff Conoway at a Bob Marley concert and gonen 3-6 in the past two weeks. They'll try to get back on track this week against Missouri State before taking on Texas this weekend. That should be fun (sarcasm people).
