Draft Thoughts

Honestly, I thought Mizzou did well with the NFL Draft. I thought Franklin and Rucker would be our only picks, with maybe Pig getting picked late on a flier due to the injury.

-Props to Cleveland for grabbing the steal of the draft in T Rucker. This is akin to trading a bologna sandwich for a porterhouse. You just robbed the draft. Junior Kellen Winslow is an absolute ass clown, known more for being a "f***ing soulja" and tossing his knee into a curb for fun. Rucker is the quiet assassin bound to be a good NFL player. 4th Round pick. Nice pick Cleveland. Now maybe "Taking the Browns to the Super Bowl" won't be just another analogy for taking a dump.

-Browns also picked up Tony Temple and Darnell Terrell after the draft. Good picks, and I think TT has a good shot at staying. Terrell has a chance with the Browns less than stellar secondary.

-Chiefs got the Kiper "A" grade because of their drafting in all rounds. Will Franklin in the 4th was a great pickup, and listening to a few Chiefs insiders in the past couple of days, they concur that Franklin could start alongside Dwayne Bowe, the hero of my fantasy team last year. Nice young wideout set for the Chiefs.

-Good luck to Pig as he decides what's going to happen. Man, that injury really killed him. Everyone likes him to comeback as an impact player.

-Lorenzo Williams is in a good situation with Baltimore. Good defense, and could line up next to that huge Hawaiian dude from Oregon (wow, that just sounds dumb).

-I'm a little surprised Luellen nor Spieker got drafted. They did a great job protecting Chase Daniel last year, and Pinkel got creative with the line's blocking schemes. Figured with the run on OLinemen that every team had, at least Denver would go for them. Spieker is in carnival known as Oakland, and Luellen will be a special teamer with San Diego if he sticks.

-Gotta give dap to the NY Jets on getting Danny Woodhead. How ironic is it that numbnuts Callahan said Woodhead was too small and terrible, and never thought about a scholarship at Nebraska, but then DW heads to NY where dipshit is a coach. Like running into your ex-girlfriend after she's Miss May. Good call.
