Holy Baseball!

First of all, I apologize for the lack of posts in the last week. I've been busy tearing up brackets, working a lot, doing fantasy baseball drafts, and then the whole Easter thing came up quick. Well, like Jesus, we're raising up from the dead.

As we're getting ready to turn the page on March, the Mizzou baseball team still has two one-run losses on the docket...and they are ranked #2 in the country by Baseball America! Both losses were back-to-back during a Florida swing, and Mizzou is the talk of College Baseball. They are only ranked behind Arizona State, who is being investigated by the NCAA as far as eligibility goes. One team to watch out for in the B12 along with Texas is Nebraska. The Huskers have been hot lately, but don't come to Columbia until late in the year. Mizzou did sweep Baylor this past weekend, who is also ranked by a few publications.

**Side Note** Mizzou has lost two in a row on Tuesday and Wednesday to Minnesota, a power in the B10. Both games were 12-5. Mizzou plays Texas Tech in a big B12 matchup this weekend in Lubbock. Mizzou is yet to lost in Columbia, which is a good sign.

**Side Note to the Side Note** No dap to mutigers.com for mixing the scores up. I haven't seen something this botched since Joan Rivers last facelift. The Tigers actually WON the first game against Minny 17-5. The Tigers got a pair of touchdowns...I mean HRs from Senne in the 12 run win. They did lose the second game though. Thanks to reader 'Anonymous' for pointing that out. Anonymous seems to be everywhere on everyone's blog, so he must be a busy guy.

They actually split the series with Minnesota, mutigers.com screwed up when they added today's score. Senne hit two HR and drove in 8 in the win.

I had a weird feeling about that, and yeah, I got the scores from MU Tigers. Help me out and give us the correct score, and I take it was probably for today's game, right?

Yeah, the score was right for game two. We won the first game 17-8.

Watch out for Texas in the Big 12 as well. Augie Garrido always has the Horns in contention. The mid-April series between UT/MU is going to be HUGE.

Yeah, Texas is good and Kyle Russell should be in the Cards organization. Nope, not bitter at all :) Dude is a STUD, along with Jordan Danks, Texas may have the best 2OFs in the B12.
